Shipping

Seawater Weaving ships all items fully tracked and insured, and require signature on delivery.  If an insurance claim is filed for a lost or damaged item, Seawater Weaving will reimburse the purchaser once a payment has been made by the shipping company.  Any customs fees or duty are the responsibility of the purchaser and will not be covered by Seawater Weaving.  You acknowledge that Seawater Weaving is located in Canada.  It is illegal to lower the declared value of items on custom declaration forms, and Seawater Weaving will indicate the amount paid by the purchaser, without exception.  All shipping fees are non-refundable.  Return shipping and/or fees associated with the return of a package are the responsibility of the purchaser.  Seawater Weaving reserves the right to withhold a restocking fee on any returned item.  Seawater Weaving reserves the right to cancel an order.

Due to the custom nature of woven products, items that are refused or abandoned at delivery for any reason are non-refundable. 

Sizing

Due to the handmade nature of the items, sizing can vary.  Every effort will be made by Seawater Weaving to produce the size you request, however, please be aware that the size can vary by 3-5 inches (longer or shorter).  If the wrap runs short, you will be notified, and your total price will be adjusted to reflect the difference.  There will be no returns for length.

All items are washed, ironed and measured prior to shipping.  Please measure STIP (soft tape in hand), for your own records, upon receipt, and prior to any wear or wash.  Any item that has been washed, worn or sold before an error is brought to the attention of Seawater Weaving is NOT eligible for refund, return, or exchange.

Returns/Refunds/Exchanges

Please keep in mind that items made by Seawater Weaving are handmade, and therefore, may have weaver flaws such as skips, weaver’s knots, pulls, bobbin changes, etc.  These flaws are considered minor flaws and cannot be used as reasons for return.  Any flaws that compromise the integrity of the textile, thus rendering it unsafe to use, will be acceptable reasons for return.  Refunds or exchanges will only be accepted if the item is misrepresented, damaged, or defective.  Please inspect any new items within 24 hours of delivery.  After 24 hours, returns, refunds or exchanges will be at the sole discretion of Seawater Weaving.  If you wish to return an item, please contact Seawater Weaving prior to returning it.  Returns will only be accepted with prior authorization, and must be shipped back using a return authorization, using a trackable and insured shipping method.

Seawater Weaving is not responsible for items that are lost by any delivery provider or mail carrier.

If you change your mind about an item, or find that the items do not suit your personal preference, you can resell on any of the BST pages, including the Seawater Weaving page.

Seawater Weaving has no control over the second-hand market.  If contacted, a retail value of the merchandise is ALL that can be given.  This can also be figured using the available price list.  Seawater Weaving will not disclose any personal information, including purchaser’s name, contact information, or the purchase price of any piece.

Warranties/Guarantees/Product Promises

Any and all warranties, guarantees and/or product promises are non-transferrable and are only valid for the original purchaser as listed on the mailing address.  Once the item is no longer in the original owner’s possession, any and all warranties, guarantees, and/or product promises are hereinafter void.  Please register your product with Seawater Weaving through the “Product Registration” tab in the Seawater Weaving Facebook chatter page.  Any and all designs created by Seawater Weaving are the sole intellectual property of Seawater Weaving and are not to be used, copied or duplicated without express written consent from Seawater Weaving.

Pictures of any and all items woven by Seawater Weaving may be used in promotional materials.
